Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Mifumo is a service of Mdala Trading Limited (incorporation no. 188910556, TIN 188-910-556), Kinzudi, Goba, P.O. Box 71202, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ("Mifumo", "we", "us"). Contact: mail@mifumo.co.tz.

2. Agreement

By creating an account or using Mifumo you accept these Terms and our privacy notice. The person who signs up confirms they may bind their business.

3. Accounts

Give true details, keep your sign-in private, use two-step sign-in, and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what your users do in your account.

4. Fees

Paid plans and add-ons are paid in advance for the period you choose, through the payment methods on your Billing page. We send invoices and reminders; we do not charge you automatically. Unpaid accounts may become read-only and then be suspended, after email notice. You may cancel at any time, and your account stays active to the end of the paid period. Fees paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.

5. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We process it only to provide Mifumo, as your data processor under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. You can export it at any time. After your account closes you have 90 days to ask for it; then it is deleted.

6. Your duties

Use Mifumo lawfully. Do not send marketing messages without consent, keep false records, or try to break into Mifumo or other accounts. You remain responsible for checking and filing your taxes, payroll and statutory returns.

7. Third-party services

Some features use services such as Google, YouTube API Services, Meta (WhatsApp), and payment and SMS providers. Where you use a YouTube feature, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google handles your data under the Google Privacy Policy.

8. The service

We provide Mifumo with reasonable skill and care, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features, with 30 days' notice before removing one you pay for.

9. Liability

We are not liable for indirect loss or lost profit. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in those 12 months, except where the law does not allow a limit.

10. Ending

We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these Terms, after a warning where possible.

11. Changes

We will post changes here with a new version and date, and email account owners about important ones.

12. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
